How Does the System Connect People?

General Theory of Magic, Magic in Q&A, Tarot Department

How does the system connect people? Mathematical model in which we exist. A person’s existential volume – awareness, reason and experience.

“Under what circumstances does the system perceive two people as a whole  and     therefore reduce their combined existential volume if it exceeds one unit? Is it when they get married, when they live together without being married, or even when they are just dating?”

An understanding of this question can explain a great deal, both about our own lives and about the universe as a whole. It is pure mathematics. Everything we observe and experience, strangely enough, unfolds according to certain mathematical laws.

The mathematical model in which we exist is, so to speak, based on a number. Yet this is not a number in the usual sense, but rather a specific unit of measurement that we conventionally call a “number” for convenience — a measurable quantity. It is generally assumed that human consciousness too can be measured in such units. This unit is known as “existential volume”, which represents how much a person’s consciousness “weighs”. In different eras, within different systems and frameworks, this unit has been defined in various ways. Today, existential volume is thought to be measured by awareness, reason, and experience.

Existential volume is understood as the combined, continuous, and useful experience of each individual. By useful we mean the ability to apply it to reality — to transform reality through one’s own experience, knowledge, and wisdom. The greater a person’s existential volume, the higher their consciousness is considered to be. Different systems define existential volume according to their own levels of possibility — in other words, according to the egregore under which one lives.

Christianity has one algorithm for evaluation, family and kin have another, the state has its own, and so on. It all depends on which dominant egregore holds your consciousness, and on the agreements you have made with it. Once you understand the egregorial system that governs you, it immediately becomes clear where to look for the answer to this question.

Look at this system and ask yourself: what does it value most in people? Here it is very important not to make a mistake in defining it. To do this, you need to ask yourself another question: “Which egregorial system has the greatest influence on my life? Which one do I have to take into account almost constantly?” And the fewer illusions you have in answering this question, the greater your clarity will be.

Egregorial Hierarchy

The higher an egregore is in its level, the more aspects of consciousness it can highlight as key. Only the gods, however, can perceive the entire consciousness as a whole, without denying or isolating any part of it, because they see a person as a projection of themselves. Accordingly, they do not fragment this projection, as it simply does not interest them. Egregores, on the other hand, limit consciousness by selecting only the qualities they need. And the lower the egregore, the more it diminishes a person’s consciousness — evaluating them by their lowest quality.

The current operating system, which evaluates a person and tends to diminish him, does not do so because it wants to humiliate or diminish the person, but because it has such a mathematical model, such an algorithm of evaluation. It selects only what it needs for its own survival and ignores everything else as irrelevant. A person may be very wise, intelligent, professional, and possess many positive qualities, but the egregore under which they live may say, “I don’t need any of that. I only need this one quality, and according to my algorithm, you have it, but it is not sufficiently developed. You haven’t invested your whole life in it, haven’t nurtured it energetically, haven’t spent enough time on it, and haven’t fully cultivated it — so it is half-dead. Therefore, I will evaluate you as if you are half-dead.” The egregore will then connect you with the person with whom you will complete each other to form a whole. However, this whole exists not at the level of the egregore itself, but at the social or caste level where the egregore has placed you.

We devote a lot of time to this topic in the Tarot Department, because it provides a more detailed explanation of how this weighing happens, why it happens, and for what reason. It also allows one to understand one’s own consciousness from the perspective of the Sephirot system, which dominates this world and dictates its rules to us.

About the Menshikova School

The Menshikova School offers education in magic, Runes, the Elements, and Tarot.

Ksenia Menshikova is the founder and head of the School, as well as the author of books on the development of magical abilities.

The School’s mission is to pass on to students the technologies and methodologies that awaken and develop their magical potential.

Magical consciousness is not a “gift from above,” but the result of deliberate self-transformation through will and reason. Only those who possess both can truly become a mage.
