Personality Disorder from a Magical Point of View

What is a personality disorder from a magical point of view?

Could you please tell us what personality disorder means from a magical point of view?

Let’s first find out what personality is. Personality is the visible part of consciousness, like the tip of an iceberg, like the facade of a building. That is, it is what we show to the people around us. Consciousness is what goes on inside. A disorder of consciousness is a disorder of internal processes.

Personality disorder is a disorder of external processes. For example, people change their personality for some reason because the space around them is changing and they have to adapt. Perhaps something inside them is changing and this personality disorder is a natural reaction to the change in consciousness.

Personality disorders are usually noticed by people around, and disorders of consciousness are usually noticed by the person themselves. They may or may not be related. From a magical point of view it means that a person changes his identity, just changes his clothes, changes his uniform, changes his wardrobe. He used to be Joe, a mechanic, and now he is Mr Smith, a big boss. It’s a change of personality.

At the moment when a person and his consciousness do not yet know what to wear, he sometimes wears two outfits at once: a boss’s suit and a mechanic’s uniform. It’s called a “personality disorder” when he hasn’t made up his mind. People around  diagnose that something is wrong with him because he wears strange clothes.

You know, sometimes we see gender activists with women’s clothes on one side and men’s clothes on the other. From the point of view of magic, this is a demonstration of individuality disorder – they have not decided who they are at that particular moment.
