RUNES of the Third Ætt- Achieving Real-Life Results
The runes of the Third Ætt represent the ability to achieve real results in life. They reveal a person’s ability—or limitations—in attaining results through particular methods. Ultimately, this determines not only a warrior’s effectiveness in the social world, but also the future orientation of one’s magical path—toward the light or the dark. The runes of the Third Ætt teach the art of achieving results. This stage includes deeper study of the Elder Futhark, and the work of mastering the Third Ætt.
By studying the First and Second Ætts, which awakened the powers originally embedded in a human being and revealed the qualities that every person must develop throughout life, we prepared ourselves for the moment when these powers and qualities could lead to real transformation of circumstances and life itself. Now that moment has arrived.
The next eight runes reveal the methods through which you may manifest yourself in the world. The ability to use these methods wisely is a sign of both life wisdom and inner strength. At the same time, it is important to remember that each person is different. Everyone has their own preferences—not only in the results they seek, but also in the ways they achieve them.
The knowledge gained through the study of the First and Second Ætts allows you to act not according to rigid patterns, but in alignment with your natural inclinations and unique qualities of character. This is a truly effective approach: instead of forcing yourself, restricting yourself, or wasting energy on internal struggle, you can direct all of your energy toward achieving results. As you already know, the stronger the energetic impulse, the faster the result is achieved.
Inner subconscious resistance that might have previously arisen has already been neutralized. This means you can confidently begin mastering the art of achieving results through different, non-contradictory methods, selecting those that are optimal for you.
The method you choose in pursuing a goal largely determines the result itself. If one uses the same approach for every objective, it is inevitable that not all goals will be achieved, not all desires will be fulfilled, and not all results will satisfy one’s true needs. Why? Because a hammer may be perfect for driving a nail—but it is hardly the right tool for repairing a television.
Different goals require different tools of achievement.
Sometimes determination and warrior spirit are required; at other times diplomacy. In some situations you must listen to yourself more than to others; in others, the opposite is true. But above all, these abilities must be learned and mastered.
This is precisely what we will dedicate our time to while working with the runes of the Third Ætt.
The next eight runes you will encounter teach the ways of achieving results. Eight runes—eight methods, eight goals, eight outcomes.
The Third Ætt crowns the entire Elder Futhark, logically developing and continuing the powers already discovered and the skills already acquired.
You now know yourself far better than before beginning the study of the runes. You understand more clearly what you truly want, and you recognize both your strengths and your weaknesses. Only with such knowledge can true action take place. Self-knowledge is the foundation upon which the line of one’s destiny is built.
The Third Ætt of the Elder Futhark:
Uniting the Runes into the Circle. Launching the Program of Transformation
In the final session, all the runes are unified into a single network in such a way that any transformation—or deeper realization—of additional qualities within one rune of the Futhark automatically brings about corresponding changes in the qualities of the other runes. As a result, the program of destiny itself is recalculated and transformed.
Initiation into Runic Magic
The conclusion of the First Course of the Runes Department is the Initiation, which always takes place in the form of a ritual—the ritual of presenting the student to the Gods of the Northern Tradition.
This is always a deeply mystical act, during which each participant in the group training steps onto their individual path of development.
Passing through the Initiation is a required condition for advancing to Course 2 of the Runes Department. Students who have not completed this stage are not permitted to continue their studies.
Those who studied runes independently from Ksenia Menshikova’s book or with other teachers are not admitted to the Initiation.
