Runes of the First Ætt — The Powers Inherent in You
The runes of the First Ætt represent the power originally placed within every human being—power granted by birthright. These powers are inherent in a person simply by virtue of being human.
By working with the runes of the First Ætt, you will awaken these powers within yourself—qualities of consciousness, intellect, and will without which free movement through life is impossible. Without these qualities, a human being cannot truly remain human and risks becoming a slave—reduced to a creature that thinks and acts only with the permission of a master.
The eight runes of the First Ætt embody these primordial powers. During the course, each of them will be awakened sequentially, strictly preserving the natural order of the runes, because each subsequent rune arises from the one before it. Every new quality of consciousness can emerge only when a foundation—the original cause—has already been formed.
