Abrahamic Religions. What Is Their Meaning?
“Are doubts in one’s own power also a consequence of the structure of the Sephirothic engine?”
The structure of the Sephiroth is built upon and expresses the worldview paradigm of all Abrahamic systems. These Abrahamic systems are founded upon the principle of creaturehood: the human being is a creature and a servant, while there exists a higher power that governs all things. And beyond that — there are the fifty books of the Old Testament and roughly thirty-nine books of the New Testament; if one does not grow tired of reading, everything is written there. This is what is called the ‘Judeo-Christian matrix.’
Whatever paradigm is placed upon the Judeo-Christian matrix eventually becomes transformed into that same Judeo-Christian matrix. For example, when Northern teachings were laid upon the Judeo-Christian framework, the result was the Third Reich — there is no need to repeat such experiments.
First, the Judeo-Christian matrix must be removed from consciousness itself. And the first sign that it is no longer present within a person’s consciousness is faith in one’s own power and faith in one’s own gods. Even when they are wrong. It is like family members. We may scold our own relatives, argue with them — yet they remain our own, and at some point you come to feel this very deeply. They may indeed be profoundly mistaken, but they do not cease to be your own because of it. At a certain stage, the same kind of relationship begins to form toward one’s own gods. You may think: ‘Look at the chaos they have caused, how thoroughly they have compromised themselves on every side’ — and yet, despite all of that, they do not cease to be beloved.
It is easy to love a god who has been purified from every side — a god who is radiant, wounded by the surrounding world, innocent, unjustly condemned. Such a figure is easy to love. What is difficult is to love one who is guilty, condemned, wrong from every perspective. Faith in one’s own power is deeply connected with the moment we cease loving only the ‘white’ ones and begin loving the ‘black’ ones as well — meaning those heavily stained — precisely because they are our own. When you truly come to feel this, it may be said that something has happened to the Judeo-Christian matrix within your consciousness. Perhaps it has thinned, perhaps it has fractured, or perhaps it has disappeared altogether. This will become a kind of litmus test, a sign — and then the connection with the gods will return.
That same pagan connection will return — the one that once allowed our ancestors to love their gods, argue with them, quarrel with them, and yet still continue loving them without betrayal, simply because some other god appeared whiter, purer, or more innocent than their own.
