The Tarot System as a Multi-Level Program of Reality
We will consider the Tree of the Sephiroth as a structural framework.
Imagine a team of programmers tasked with creating a program. Their goal is to make it universal — neither excessive nor lacking, but precisely sufficient. It must contain ready-made algorithmic modules that enable it to achieve the desired result in the shortest possible time and with minimal energy expenditure.
But for such a program to be created, it must pass through all stages of development.
In the Worlds of Yetzirah and Beriah
The world of Yetzirah is the final version of the program — it is what we perceive. Not being programmers, we cannot alter its fundamental functionality or inherent capabilities. We can, however, load certain additional programs or modules that may help it operate faster, with higher quality, perhaps somewhat more efficiently and with less energy expenditure. Yet even so, the program does not cease to be a program — it does not stop doing what it was designed to do.
In the world of Beriah, programs are created for all — for a multitude of different worlds. Why are they all developed in one place? Because all the worlds on this Tree must fulfill the function of synchronicity. They must support one another, and nothing should interfere with this balance.
This same principle is reflected in the world of Yetzirah: all the Arcana must remain in equilibrium. If something begins to outweigh the others — for example, the 19th Arcana — then those that compensate for it, namely the resulting 18th and 22nd, will immediately assume part of the balancing load. This load, passing through the 22nd Arcana, will affect the 21st and 20th, which in turn will bring the 17th into operation. In this way, an impulse of imbalance received from the external world will, after some time, reach the 17th Arcana — and it will activate a state of equilibrium, automatically restoring balance within you.
Thus, a person will not be pushed beyond a certain boundary of being, yet will always have a destiny shaped by personal inclinations. Only the one who has lived through and experienced everything, who has eliminated all vulnerabilities that unconsciously activate the lower Arcana of the sublunar world, can allow themselves to take the 17th Arcana into their own hands — into conscious control — and ascend to the world of Beriah. Even if not engaging directly in the development of such “injections,” one may at least begin to study and understand them.
We discuss in detail how these programs are created in the General Theory of Magic.
Constructing a Program of Reality
Let us briefly touch upon the process of building a program. A programmer has several essential stages. The first is the creation of the tree of the current reality — a preliminary draft that outlines what is intended and must be achieved. And this applies not only to the world we inhabit, but to the entire system of all worlds.
Then the teams are divided into groups — called Pantheons — each taking on its own scope of work. For a time, they isolate their segment from the work of other programs so that the purity of the experiment remains as high as possible, and begin executing their technical task. Each team operates according to a specific principle, working through a clearly defined objective.
At a certain point, they come together, compare results, draw conclusions, and then disperse again to their respective laboratories. At the same time, no team generates its technical task from its own mind. All tasks derive from a unified technical directive — this is the higher world of Atziluth.
In the world of Beriah, smaller programs are developed — programs for constructing localized realities. In this sense, our world — the human world in which we live — can also be considered a relatively small reality. Therefore, all processes within it must unfold synchronously. And everything takes place within the sphere of the sephira Tiferet.
What Should Be and What Must Be Changed?
Once the tree of the current reality has been outlined, the next question arises: what should be, and what must be changed?
In the world of Beriah, everything is broken down into components; vulnerabilities are identified and compared against the ideal. What is unsatisfactory is determined, the discrepancies are defined, and a corrective program — an “injection”— is formed, intended to bring the imperfect state of the system into alignment with the ideal.
At the next stage, all the injections are gathered, and through a series of tests, a set of essential ones is selected — those that must be implemented and will reliably lead to the desired result. Based on these, what is known as a logical tree is constructed, revealing the underlying principle.
Consciousnesses that consistently operate at the level of the world of Beriah — serving as primary specialists — are called mages, those who create reality. Those engaged in the programming of this world are precisely the ones who develop these “injections.”
If you wish to perceive a multidimensional reflection rather than a flat one, with all its depth and detail, then such programs are essential for you.
