Conscious desires are a great gift of the human mind
A desire is just an emotion, an inner yearning, or simply a whim. In that case, can the goal also be a desire transformed into the actions taken in order to achieve what is desired? If I was stopped by one of the three security perimeters, does that indicate an unachieved goal?
Starting with the last one, yes, absolutely right, it indicates an unachieved goal. But here I see another reason for not achieving the goal in your rigidly differentiated Mental body. You assigned labels to your own desires. If it is an emotion, you treat it accordingly, “can be fulfilled” or “cannot be fulfilled.” If it is an inner yearning, then you put another label, “can be satisfied” or “cannot be satisfied.” What if it’s simply a whim? What’s the approach for that? Will you turn such a whim into a goal and fulfill it while slightly disregarding it, or will you just let it go with irony?
Your Mental body has already divided them into components. They are differentiated qualities of desires. Some of them require satisfaction, others require contempt. Which one is which?
A Desire is a treasure
A desire is a person’s greatest treasure. Animals have instincts, and so do we. But we also possess conscious desires. And it’s a great gift of the human mind. Through desires, we are capable of changing reality, creating magic, and performing miracles. To disregard your own desires means to disregard your magic, your inner potential. Every desire has the right to be fulfilled, to become a goal and achieve a specific visible result. Every desire has the right to become the basis for the transformation of reality and worldview. That is if we don’t diminish them to the level of mere whims.
