Hagalaz advised you to bring your mental body into order, to sort through your books. Your primary task is to fully pass through the caste of merchants. For one can enter the caste of warriors only after completely traversing the caste of merchants — that is, after assimilating all the algorithms of the merchant estate. You have not yet taken them all, which is why the lack of money has manifested so sharply. You are not yet able to draw in the necessary resources at the very moment they are needed.

In addition, there is the issue of your daughter’s health. And this indicates that not everything has yet been mastered within the caste of laborers either. The ability to govern one’s own health and physical body is the very minimum that should have been carried forward from the caste of laborers.

This means that you still carry certain unresolved debts from the previous stages — debts that must now be neutralized. You devote a great deal of effort to your own personal development, but what tangible result has this produced in the world around you? What has actually become better because of it? So far, beyond self-satisfaction — or perhaps self-torment, endlessly moving from one extreme to another — nothing substantial has yet been achieved. You may allow yourself to live this way if you remain within the caste of laborers, because little more is expected of you there. You gave birth to a child — the task is considered fulfilled. But you are aspiring to something greater. And the world responds: “Good. Then step forward — but now let us work according to the proper algorithm.”

Therefore, first resolve all unfinished matters within the caste of laborers. Direct all of your vast knowledge toward restoring your daughter’s health — bring that issue to completion. Then organize your extensive library and turn it toward the ability to obtain resources, which is precisely what the merchant caste teaches: the skill of acquiring all necessary connections without causing harm to yourself. After that, you are welcome into the caste of warriors, with all the possibilities for further movement into magic that it opens before you. In other words: first settle the old debts.

Perthro is the rune of fate. In other words, this is the destiny that the rune has presently revealed to you. If you wish to change your fate, then you must change all of its underlying causes — and all of them lie within the second Ætt: Hagalaz, Nauthiz, Isa, Jera, and Eihwaz — and only then comes Perthro. If you transform all of these, then Perthro itself will also change. For now, your fate appears unyielding — but no one says that it cannot be changed.
